更新日志

新功能、问题修复与升级说明。

Pi Desk v1.1.17

New Features

  • Remote Debug now identifies processes occupying required local ports and lets you confirm force-terminating them before startup continues. If port ownership changes, it asks for confirmation again.

Added

  • Added direct links to official usage guides in plugin settings and panels.

Changed

  • Redesigned context settings with separate process-ignoring and image-cleanup tabs, clearer model-capacity ranges, and directly accessible progress-checkpoint controls.
  • Deleting a context model range or restoring recommended context settings now requires confirmation.

Notes

The macOS build is experimental and not notarized.

Pi Desk v1.1.16

Breaking Changes

  • Passwords are now limited to 64 characters instead of 256 in login and password settings; existing passwords longer than 64 characters are no longer accepted at login.

New Features

  • Rename work sessions from their context menu.
  • Preview Markdown files with rendered formatting or switch to source view in session file views and standalone viewers, with preview scroll positions preserved.
  • Check for and install Pi updates from the desktop control center, with cancellation and automatic pausing and recovery of running local services after installation validation.
  • Open local and remote Pi Desk instances in the system browser from the desktop control center; local services start before the browser opens.
  • Preview affected projects and their old and new default model settings before saving model replacements, then apply replacements to project defaults.
  • Enable optional automatic image cleanup in the context plugin to omit older images from model requests when configured limits are exceeded and block oversized new image batches with a warning. This setting is off by default.

Added

  • Plugin session-sidebar tabs can provide header actions; the Deliverables tab now includes a refresh action.

Changed

  • Batch plugin installation and updates now prepare and validate candidates in parallel before applying them sequentially.

Fixed

  • Plugin reinstallation preserves existing package configuration and can repair an installation whose target files are missing after a failed reinstall.
  • Long-pressing a session to open its context menu no longer selects it on touch release; keyboard context-menu shortcuts are also supported.

Removed

  • Removed the power-saving appearance setting and animated session-status borders.

Notes

The macOS build is experimental and not notarized.

Pi Desk v1.1.12

Breaking Changes

  • Legacy desktop configuration is no longer migrated automatically: the app loads defaults and leaves the original file untouched on startup. Legacy update-preference fields are ignored; use startupUpdate and periodicUpdate instead.

New Features

  • Deliverables now support files outside the project, using absolute paths or paths relative to the session directory. Plugins can preview and reveal external files using absolute paths; directory browsing and standalone project reveal remain restricted to the project.

Changed

  • Plugin management now scrolls the installed-plugin list independently, keeping filters and list controls visible and limiting the height of the direct-install panel.

Fixed

  • Fixed chat position shifts when switching sessions: ended conversations stay at the latest user message, while running conversations in follow mode open directly at the bottom, even as the initial layout expands.

Notes

The macOS build is experimental and not notarized.

Pi Desk v1.1.10

New Features

  • Switch between the session project and plugin-registered preview directories in the file workspace, with per-directory browsing state, Git status, and diffs. Git branch switching remains limited to the session project.
  • Generate a random strong password in authentication settings.
  • Receive a security warning after more than five consecutive failed login attempts.

Added

  • Plugin SDK support for registering session preview directories and choosing a default preview directory without changing the session working directory.
  • Plugins can publish notifications with a stable key to update an existing notification instead of creating duplicates.

Changed

  • New or replacement login passwords must be 12–256 characters and include at least three of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, digits, and symbols. Leading or trailing whitespace and control characters are not allowed.
  • Excess concurrent password checks return a retry prompt, and login errors no longer expose authentication configuration details.
  • Pi compatibility is checked by loading the runtime and verifying required SDK capabilities rather than enforcing version-number restrictions. Installation guidance now recommends the latest Pi.
  • Long reasoning displays show the latest 5,000 characters and offer an option to copy the full text.
  • Unchanged lines in diffs are no longer collapsed by default.

Fixed

  • Preserve chat reading position while viewing files, and restore live-follow behavior when returning to a running session that was following new messages.
  • Repeated Tibo notifications for the same post update the existing notification instead of creating duplicates.

Notes

The macOS build is experimental and not notarized.

Pi Desk v1.1.8

New Features

  • Project file previews now include Git status in file tabs, line-level change markers, previous/next change navigation, and direct access to the corresponding diff.

Added

  • Added Chinese usage guides and interactive demos for nine plugins, linked from the plugin documentation.

Changed

  • Desktop setup now prioritizes Node.js/npm available to the application and lets you select an existing Node.js installation or its bin directory before downloading an environment.
  • Desktop environment download errors now distinguish connection, timeout, and data-transfer failures and suggest recovery options.
  • Moved Pi Desk documentation and the local application example from docs/pi-desk/ to docs/.
  • Diff views now show whitespace-only changes.

Fixed

  • Fixed chat positioning when returning to a conversation or browser tab: reading positions are preserved while a response is running, and the latest exchange is restored after it finishes.
  • Fixed Escape dismissal of hover cards so their triggers no longer retain keyboard focus.

Notes

The macOS build is experimental and not notarized.

Pi Desk v1.1.5

Breaking Changes

  • Legacy per-service desktop registry settings are no longer read or saved. Configure custom registries in the unified desktop download-source settings instead.

New Features

  • Added persistent, unified desktop download-source settings with official, domestic-mirror and custom npm registry options for environment preparation and managed package downloads.
  • Added a local npm configuration mode for plugin downloads that preserves registry, scope and authentication settings for installation and preflight checks.
  • Added the `plugins reload` management command to reload installed plugin code without downloading packages, restarting the host or reloading existing Pi sessions.

Added

  • Bundled Pi Desk documentation navigation, management-command and plugin-development guides, and a runnable local application example.

Changed

  • Redesigned plugin management with status filters, dedicated detail views, clearer version and update indicators, automatic update checks outside basic mode, and an Update All action.
  • Plugin batch operations and targeted update checks now process large selections in chunks instead of imposing a 32-plugin selection limit.
  • Desktop managed-package version checks and installations now retry registry-related failures using the official registry and, when different, the local npm registry.
  • Pi Desk sessions now receive bundled-documentation guidance through the system prompt instead of the generated Pi Desk skill.

Fixed

  • Fixed mobile Back handling for the terminal, file preview and branch picker, and prevented hidden workbench content from responding while the sidebar is open.
  • Fixed Escape closing both the image viewer and the dialog underneath it.
  • Fixed chat scrolling away from the bottom when content rearranges without changing height.
  • Prevented stale project-model and MCP settings from being edited or saved while switching projects or refreshing configuration; switching MCP scopes now asks before discarding unsaved edits.
  • Fixed scoped plugin registry overrides affecting unrelated public dependencies, and aligned registry lookups with the npm configuration used for plugin installation.

Notes

The macOS build is experimental and not notarized.

Pi Desk v1.1.3

Added

  • Linux x86_64 desktop support via AppImage, with automatic Node.js and Pi setup and detection of locally installed Git and Bash. Git and Bash must be installed through the distribution's package manager.

Changed

  • Unified website and documentation download listings for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android, with clear availability indicators.
  • Windows environment detection and PATH updates no longer require PowerShell, while preserving existing PATH entries and registry value types.
  • Reduced unnecessary session-file scanning during project discovery, history refreshes, session-message access, and usage-detail loading.

Fixed

  • Usage details now match sessions by both session ID and project directory and revalidate changed or deleted cached files, preventing incorrect or stale session matches.

Notes

The macOS build is experimental and not notarized.

Pi Desk v1.1.0

Breaking Changes

  • Plugin SDK dropdowns now use the options-based PluginSelect API. PluginSelectField and the previous native-select PluginSelect API are no longer available; plugin authors must update their imports and props.

New Features

  • Search the plugin catalog, view package details and READMEs, and install plugins with a choice of version and download source.
  • Enable or disable installed plugins, choose update channels, and install, update, or remove multiple plugins at once.
  • Sign in to supported model-provider accounts from Settings and select account models to add to your model list.
  • Choose whether the desktop configuration window appears at startup, hides when opening chat, or returns when closing chat.

Added

  • Docker deployment for Linux amd64, with a bundled runtime, persistent data mounts, and setup, upgrade, and backup documentation.

Changed

  • Plugin maintenance waits for active calls to the affected plugin to finish before applying changes; locked files may still require a restart.
  • The pidesk plugin commands support multiple install/remove targets, channel selection with --tag, and explicit update checks with --check-updates. Existing plugins follow their saved channel when no version or channel is specified.
  • Desktop setup shows per-component installation and download progress and prepares Pi and Pi Desk in parallel after Node.js is ready.
  • Desktop settings and remote-access controls are reorganized, with connection status and address copying on a dedicated remote-access page. The header shows the installed desktop app version.
  • Desktop startup update checks run after the installed service is ready rather than delaying startup, and newly available updates bring the configuration window into view.
  • Creating a session opens the directory browser automatically when no project directories are listed, and keeps the current directory listing visible while navigating.

Fixed

  • Keep built-in message content visible while plugin views load or fail, and show loading details instead of blank placeholders for plugin-only messages.
  • Defer session reloads while a native plugin prompt is awaiting an answer.
  • Fix tunnel initialization overflow on 32-bit platforms.

Notes

The macOS build is experimental and not notarized.

Pi Desk v1.0.0

New Features

  • A visual workspace for Pi with pinned sessions, side-by-side conversations and branching history.
  • Stream responses, attach images, queue messages and synchronize conversations across your devices.
  • Browse and preview project files, inspect Git diffs, and manage branches without leaving the workspace.
  • Configure models, skills and MCP servers, and extend the workspace with plugins.
  • Run background commands, delegate work to subagents, and review task logs and deliverables.
  • Manage local setup, service updates and remote connections from the desktop client, or connect from Android.

Notes

The macOS build is experimental and not notarized.
